    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business required, MBA a plus
    • 5 or more years of experience in accounting in manufacturing environment
    • CPA or CMA is preferred Responsibilities:
      • Principal Accountabilities
          • Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
          • Oversee the accounting operations especially their control systems, transaction processing operations, and policies and procedures
          • Drive value added analysis to allow management to make sound business decisions
          • Manage all cash flow processes
          • Perform and manage cost accounting
          • Oversee administrative support staff including but not limited to purchasing and coordinating IT support
            • Transactions
                • Compile and analyze financial data to prepare appropriate journal entries for month-end reporting
                • Ensure that accounts payable are paid accurately and in a timely manner
                • Ensure that accounts receivable balances are collected promptly
                • Ensure that bank and credit card accounts are reconciled
                • Ensure that required debt payments are made a timely basis
                • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
                • Review contracts
                • Perform international reconciliation of accounts
                • Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions and recommend processing and procedure improvements
                • Monitor production costing and labor costing
                  • Reporting
                      • Manage the month-end close process, including the preparation of complete financial statements and related reports.
                      • Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report
                      • Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations.
                      • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
                      • Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
                      • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.
                      • Provide for a system of management cost reports
                      • Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
                      • Work with external accountants to verify and provide requested financial data
                        • Compliance
                          • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings including the preparation of sales and use tax returns, and property tax returns.
